An amusing long scarf with a Roaring Twenties motif of ladies in big hats wrapped in fur trimmed coats standing with closed umbrellas as if queueing up for a taxi. This is at either self fringed end. Scattered along the body of the scarf are scenes of umbrellas and hats being blown away, rather evil looking men coming to their aid, and a vintage auto stopped for the lady or for her use. It is driverless.
The scarf is silk I believe although it is not marked. It is 12 by 50 inches long. The condition is excellent. No damage or stains of any kind. The frame is chocolate brown on a warm sandy background. The ladies have accents of cream and olive. The ends of the scarf are finished in short self fringing. It is not signed.
This is a vintage scarf probably 50 plus years old judging by the fabric which is not a finish used in recent years.
