From Italy a vintage leather checkbook style wallet that has it all and made by a high end Italian designer. I doubt this has ever been used but high quality wallets like this can take it and still look beautiful. The lining is part leather and part a paisley of dark green and black. Very subtle.
The wallet is black leather stamped to look like crocodile or maybe cobblestones. The outer flap features the Masi logo of a leather curl with head and tail of a lion in gold plate. Under that flap are 5 slots for credit cards and a lengthwise slot for paper money or a tablet style checkbook would fit there.
The mid third has a slot at the top that would allow insertion of a book style checkbook. Below that is a snap closed flap that opens to 2 vinyl windows for photos or photo ID. Behind it all is another lengthwise slot for paper money or a tablet style checkbook.
The third section has another slot at the top giving you an option for your checkbook and a roomy change purse that closes with a snap. There is another long slot between the slit and the purse and a lengthwise slot.
The wallet was made for holding large European or British paper money and the slot for such is very deep. With current sized bills this offers more security or if you carry large denomination bills you can push them to the bottom and keep the small bills at the top. Or you can use this large section for receipts and slide your paper money into one of the other slots.
This wallet would hold your passport and other documents if you are traveling.
