are mirror stores to the US store (www.thelivesandlovesofmaggiethecat.ecrater.com) but with item prices and shipping in British pound sterling and Australian dollars. Anyone can buy from these stores but North American buyers will avoid currency exchange fees on their credit cards if they shop from the .com store. All international buyers outside Australia and United Kingdom are encouraged to shop the .com site as well.

Condition of items:
All items I sell are pre-owned, vintage or antique. Even items that have never been used did not come from a retail outlet or wholesaler. READ the description. Flaws, color discrepancies, measurements, et cetera are indicated in the description. I am not perfect and have been known to forget measurements. If I did or you have more questions email me. I will be glad to help you. I'd rather lose a sale than have a disgruntled customer.

Smoke, pets, and odors:
My home is smoke and fragrance free but I have a cat. I avoid buying items with detectable tobacco, mold or fragrance odor however I can’t promise items did not have previous exposure.

If items have soil or stains from use I usually clean or work on them before listing. If not I mention this in the listing. Items that are obviously unused but have shop soil are not laundered as they are being sold as unused, unlaundered.

Payment:
Payment is due immediately if using PayPal and PayPal Express or via major credit card.

The shipping grid was designed for US based sellers and is not absolutely accurate for combined shipping for Canada shipping. Rest assured I refund overages automatically. You don't need to ask.

January 2015 Canada Post not only raised rates but changed the weight allowances for the categories. When listing an item I assign weights according to the category required for shipping. These are no longer accurate. You do have my guarantee to refund excess shipping when it is due.

If you are buying more than one item and take a break your shopping cart will empty out. Make a note of the item numbers you have in your cart before leaving your computer.

Combined shipping:
I give it whether you request it or not and refund differences over a dollar.
The more you buy the more you save. The postage for the most weighty item is always the most expensive. Adding additional items sometimes add nothing to the shipping of the first or very little. It all depends on the items you are buying.

Shipping/Insurance:
I ship worldwide via USPS or Canada Post. Most items will go airmail but the occasional package will go surface unless you want to pay a premium for airmail. Please let me know your time constraints and requirements. If I can’t meet them I will refund you before shipping.

Insurance is always available. Cost of insurance is included in the shipping fee for breakable and valuable items. If you aren't sure if it is included and want it, email me.

CANADIAN SHIPPING:
I ship from BC and shipping shown for Canada is the maximum for going Vancouver to Montreal. However I always refund the excess if you live closer.

Returns:
If there is a problem with your order, please contact me via email within 24 hours of receipt. In case your package arrives damaged keep the packaging and all the contents and notify me immediately.

Returns for other reasons are accepted if initiated within 3 days and received back within 10 days. I do not rent fashion accessories and only refund such items if the package is damaged in transit or I sent the wrong item. Items received after 10 days and without prior contact will be refused. Otherwise refunds, less shipping/handling fees, will be made via Paypal.

Allow 4 weeks from date of mailing before reporting your package as lost. There is no tracking from Canada unless you pay a very high premium. The only problems I have ever had is due to buyers not updating their addresses. Make sure you have a current address listed with PayPal. If a package is returned for incorrect address I will resend it upon receipt of payment of new postage.

If the package is insured you must wait for the bureaucratic wheels to turn. I will work with you, but don't issue the refunds.

No unauthorized returns. If you are in the US, I have a US address for returns. Ask for it before returning a package. Do not send to Canada.

Normally I do not charge restocking fees for a single item returned, however if you are returning multiple items, ask if there will be a restocking fee deducted from your refund. Returns are time consuming and time is money.

Finally, and this is important, as internet providers attempt to stem SPAM emails, they quite frequently discard important emails. If you have emailed me for whatever reason and don’t get an answer within 24 hours, check your spam/phishing files or that you don’t have blocks on mail from unrecognized contacts. I answer ALL emails within 24 hours and usually much sooner.

I ship worldwide if I can insure to your country. If my insurer won't cover your country I will cancel the order and refund you. See FAQs (link at top of page) for details.
